Our story
My boyfriend, Ben, was injured very badly on January 10th, 2025. That was and forever will be the worst day of my life. He ended up with a severe traumatic brain injury. Ben and I had been dating for almost 4 years at the time of his injury. I always said Ben’s the one person I could be with 24/7 and never get tired of… my best friend. Ben went through an emergency surgery to save his life, he spent 2 months on life support, had 3 more brain surgeries, and has been doing rehabilitation ever since.
Ben’s injury has destroyed my happiness in a lot of ways… it’s still so painful. Some days the only hope I find is in the Lord, and His ability to heal. I decided to start THE 1700 simply because life is so precious, and it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. It would mean the world to me if all of you said a prayer for Ben’s complete healing tonight before bed, thank you.
